Prince Albert of Thurn and Taxis (Yes, he is Prince Albert) is known for having been listed as the world’s youngest billionaire multiple times. But did you also know that he is an avid race car driver?
He was the vice-champion in 2007/2008 and champion in 2010 of the German GT Championship ADAC GT Masters. Recently he was racing in the FIA GT1 World Championship in his Lamborghini Gallardo when tragedy struck. Going at around 125mph he lost control around a corner and slammed into the tire barrier. Pieces of the Gallardo went flying, but luckily the Prince was unharmed. In the video you can see him sitting on a stack of tires, knowing he screwed the pooch on that turn.
