Ok, so the title is a bit misleading. The GT-R hit the top speed record for GT-R’s at 233.1 and then hit a bump when the ‘chute deployed making it drift. It is quite impressive that the driver maintained control at such a high speed. Check out this video to watch the world record run and the subsequent drift.
