A 23-year old Washington man decided he wanted to have a little bit of fun last Tuesday night. While most people would go to a bar or even bowling, this guy decided he would just steal a 2012 Camaro rental from Hertz.
It was reported stolen around 11:30 PM Tuseday night, and at around 2:30 AM Wednesday morning Police noticed a suspicious group of people gather around…wait for it… a silver Camaro. When the officers approached the group of people, a man immediately jumped into the car and sped off. Police pursued the Camaro, and were led on a high speed chase that topped speeds of 150mph. The chase went on for about 50 miles until the driver was taken down with a spike strip. The unidentified driver was uninjured and was arrested. To see the damage caused, see the pictures below.
