When the Olympics take place, the hosting city goes through an intense shakedown. The cops go on full alert, and security measures are increased ten-fold. So when the cops see a broken down Ford Mondeo right by the House of Commons and Westminster Abbey, they go ape****.
The driver of the car, a tourist with the ugliest attire Nima Hosseini Razi on the block, left his car there after his car broke down. After calling a tow truck, he then walked 15 minutes to check out the Buckingham Palace, leaving his car unattended. Anywhere else, and the car may have been fine, but he left it on the doorstep of UK’s government. Naturally, when the cops saw this they channeled their inner George Walker Bush and thought ‘turrorist.’ To make sure that the car didn’t have any explosives inside, they blew up the trunk in order to open it and get inside… They blew up explosives on a car that was suspected of having explosives inside… Common sense was not used here in either party.
So when Razi returned to his car he was greeted with a big ticket, busted trunk and questions. It would have helped if he wasn’t dressed like a complete douchebag. Or maybe I am just really missing something and this is in style in the UK.
