Sure, that tree fort in your backyard is pretty cool, but what if you had a rotating dining room in your backyard? That would bring all the boys to the yard.
Thanks to Ornate Garden, a leading manufacturer of contemporary garden buildings, hand crafted Victorian lighting and garden furniture you can have that rotating room. They have created a series of rotating pods that serve as your own personal revolving restaurant.
The Deluxe Summerhouse model is Ornate Garden’s latest design which is less of a restaurant or dining room, but more of a place to sit when you want to relax in the comfort of your garden without the whole ‘being outside’ feeling. The pod includes windows all around which give you a panoramic view of the garden. It comes with two built-in sofa’s that are waterproof, but don’t worry the pod is also fully sealed from the elements. To enter your pod, there is a smart lift up and over door which is repeated in two windows, one left and one of the right side of the pod structure.
Ornate Garden has also allowed their clients to customize the color of the interior, the walls and even the flooring.
Another model of the pods is the ‘Large pod’ which is more of a dining room. It seats 14 guests comfortably, and can also be used as an office space as well.
The inside of the pods are made with waterproof vinyl and the outer top hood allows plenty of air ventilation but is well insulated as to prevent cold nights in your pod. They can be rotated 360 degrees so you always have something new to look at, because that person in front of you can’t be that interesting. As for a power source, they offer a 20watt solar panel along with a 12volt charging system so that is can run independently using only solar energy. The pods generally come with a 240v power source to power the mood lights.
