Rich people do a lot of crazy things with their money, one common activity among the rich is buying ridiculous cars. Well you aren’t just going to park those expensive cars on the street, are you?
Of course not. You park your cars in your $6,000,000 garage. That is exactly what Tom Gonzalez, a software engineer, does in his Lake Tahoe home. He technically has two garages, the first being filled with unridden collector’s bikes. The second garage is where the real money went.
Tom decided he wanted a safe place to put his cars, so where better to put them than in an underground garage? Well… how the hell are you going to get your cars down there? A gigantic elevator, that’s how. He had a huge elevator built that is capable of lifting and lowering a 45′ RV and then some to his underground mancave. (I like to thing this garage was created for the zombie apocalypse, as it would be a prime shelter.) To raise and lower the elevator costs him about $25.
