This is a concept rendering for the 2015 Ford Mustang, it’s authenticity is unknown but a Ford insider says it’s really close to what is expected.
It is set to be released two years from now on the Mustang’s 50th anniversary.
It’s obvious that the Mustang is getting a huge exterior overhaul, but it will also be getting a performance overhaul.
Ford insiders say that the 2015 Mustang will feature a turbo-charged 4-cylinder that will have about the same power output as the V6 but will be better on gas. Also, Ford will be getting rid of the straight axle rear end and will move to an independent setup. This is meant to appeal to European customers who are more concerned with cornering and handling as opposed to Americans who are usually worried with how fast it is down a strip.
