Garages are meant to keep your car safe from people and the weather. However, garages can be broken into, especially by crazy guys with axes because let’s face it, guys with axes are either nuts or lumberjacks.
Reports say that a man with an axe got into the Greypaul Ferrari garage, a Scottish dealership, and proceeded to smash the windows of a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. How do we know it was a guy with an axe? Well it was all caught on CCTV, but unfortunately we don’t have the video just yet.
The car belonged to Rajinder Singh, a property dealer from Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire. He had this to say to The Daily Record:
“It is bad enough that this has happened but the garage have been useless. The whole thing is a bad joke. I gave the garage a car worth more than £200,000 and they give me back a car that is effectively written off. The police asked me if there could be anyone who has a grudge against me but the garage is miles from my home. No one would have known it was my car. The police say they have investigated, got no leads and say there’s nothing else they can do.”
I love that when he was asked if anyone had a grudge against him he replied with “the garage is miles from my home. No one would have known it was my car.” Obviously somebody has a grudge with this guy and he knows it. And if the grudge was large enough, I’m sure the guy would travel a few miles to destroy Singh’s Ferrari.
