Valencia mid-fielder Ever Banega experienced something that is becoming all too common in the exotic car world: he experienced his Ferrari going up in flames.
He was driving his Ferrari 360 Modena yesterday when smoke began to come up from the hood. Banega quickly exited the car and watched as his recently purchased Ferrari went up in flames.
When the fire was put out, there was hardly anything left of the prancing pony except a slightly charred nose.
It would be appreciated if Ferrari could get their s*** together, because I write about way too many Ferraris catching on fire. If one $20,000 Ford Escape has it’s throttle stuck, Ford reacts quickly by recalling almost 500,000 cars. Yet, Ferrari sits back and watches as their well over $100,000 cars catch fire and endanger the lives of the passengers. For that price, you shouldn’t have to worry about being trapped in a metal box of fire.
