The 2012 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse has received a power makeover for the new year! The engineers have somehow managed to take pull more power from the 8.0-liter quad turbocharged W-16, going from 1001 to 1200 hp and 922 to 1106 lb-ft of torque. This power increase came from four enlarged turbochargers and intercoolers. In order to handle the increase in power, the chassis was modified, adding a total of 88 pounds.
The 0-to-60 mph time is projected at 2.6 seconds but has yet to be confirmed. The top speed is at a mind-blowing 255 mph. If you’re driving anywhere near this speed in an open-top car, you can guarantee that will not need to invest in a hairdryer. If you have the money to burn and are looking for the best of the supercars, then this is what you’re looking for. For those that are interested, you better have some deep pockets because pricing starts at $2.3 million. Read original post here
