Well… this was bound to happen.
Remember the Julien Chabbot, the guy that ran over the cop’s foot in a Ferrari 458? Of course you do. Well, now the cop is suing Chabbot for $10 million for personal injury and wants Chabbot’s charges raised to first-degree assault.
“Chabbott clearly had no regard for Officer Recio’s life. Hitting him with his Ferrari could have caused serious injuries or death. I would like the charges adjusted to first-degree assault,” Strazzullo explained.
Ten bucks says if the guy who ran over the cops foot was driving a 1996 Ford Taurus, the cop would not be suing. It is sad how people are just using the legal system to get rich and take advantage of others. I highly doubt that any procedures that were done to the officer’s foot cost anything close to $10 million. I even doubt that the cop is wearing a cast on his foot. According to Chabbot’s attorney, the cop is just faking the injury.
Either way, both of these guys are now official d-bags.
